Community-based rehabilitation is a strategy to provide equitable opportunities and protect the human rights of persons with disabilities (PwDs). This initiative aims to provide rehabilitation services to empower PwDs residing in villages.
2023-24 highlights
- distributed need-based kits to 75 PwDs
- supported three families with economic rehabilitation
- supported 10 PwDs to avail pension and Niramaya – insurance scheme
Uplifting the community of migrant workers
This year we initiated basic reading and writing classes for 44 children of migrant workers at two sites. These children were also given awareness about health and hygiene.
