The Management Committee of Atul Foundation works under the overall direction and guidance of the Board of Trustees. The Foundation is supported by teams required for operations and projects. The impact made by Atul Foundation is also reviewed by the Management (quarterly), Corporate Social Responsibility Committee (half yearly) and the Board (yearly) of Atul Ltd (Atul). Established in 1978, Atul Rural Development Fund is the primary implementing agency for Atul Foundation.

Dr Vimla Lalbhai

Chairperson

Date of birth: August 21, 1927

Brief résumé: Dr Vimala Lalbhai has been active in the field of social service for more than 50 years. She has been a mentor and trustee of many charitable organisations serving humanity.

Dr Lalbhai is a Chairperson of Atul Rural Development Fund. She is also a trustee in Kasturba Gandhi National Memorial Trust, Indore, Kasturba Sevashram, Maroli and The Temple of Understanding, New Delhi.

She is also serving as a trustee of Kasturba Hospital, Valsad, Nootan Kelavani Mandal, Valsad and All India Committee for Eradication of Women Illiteracy, New Delhi.

Dr Lalbhai holds an FRCS degree from London.

Swati Lalbhai

Date of birth: November 01, 1961

Brief résumé: Ms Swati Lalbhai is closely associated with social development activities of Atul Foundation. She is actively involved in all the education related programs of Atul Foundation.

Ms Lalbhai is a trustee of Atul Vidyalaya Trust and Atul Rural Development Fund. She is also a member of the Management Committee of Atul Vidyamandir and Kalyani Shala. She is a Committee Member of Atul Institute of Vocational Excellence, which imparts training to tribal youth, thus empowering them to be a part of the mainstream society. She serves as a Trustee of Nootan Kelavani Mandal, Valsad and Helping Hand Charitable Trust, Pardi.

Ms Lalbhai is a Chartered Accountant and heads Aagam Holdings Private Ltd.

Sharat Tripathi

Trustee

Date of birth: October 07, 1958

Brief résumé: Mr Sharat Tripathi joined Atul in 2008 and is closely associated with the activities of Atul Foundation, with a keen interest in the field of education, empowerment, and development of communities including surrounding villages.

Mr Tripathi is the Chairman of Atul Vidyalaya Trust and a member of the management committee of Atul Institute of Vocational Excellence and Chairs the Institute Management Committee that looks after the upgradation of four ITIs, which are being developed by Atul in a PPP mode with the Government of Gujarat.

Mr Tripathi holds a graduate degree from IIT Kanpur with about four decades of work experience in diverse fields.

Bharat Trivedi

Date of birth: February 01, 1962

Brief résumé: Mr Bharat Trivedi joined Atul in 1998 and is closely associated with the activities of Atul Foundation, with a keen interest in the field of education.

Mr Trivedi is a trustee of Atul Vidyalaya Trust, Atul Rural Development Fund and he is also a member of the Management Committee of Atul Vidyamandir and Atul Institute of Vocational Excellence.

Mr Trivedi holds a postgraduate degree from IIT Mumbai.
