Under this project, the selected anganwadis are reconstructed to provide safe spaces for children to enhance their first experience of the outer world. Clean toilets and ample kitchen space were provided in each structure. Further, the walls of the anganwadis were painted with elementary pictorial lessons to engage children in fun learning.

Colourful playing experiences

‘Now the children insist on staying in the anganwadi for longer durations and playing with other children. The environment is now more lively and welcoming for both children and their parents,’ shares an anganwadi worker from Parnera.
