Atul Institute of Vocational Excellence (AIVE) has taken responsibility to develop 125 micro-entrepreneurs in various trades such as industrial sewing, air conditioning and refrigeration maintenance, mushroom harvesting, welding and mobile repairing. As the world faces a severe health challenge posed by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, 12 women who were trained in basic sewing have stitched around 50,000 cloth masks and honed their skills. This self-sustainable initiative will not only provide protection, but also livelihood opportunities.
This is one of the various initiatives undertaken to mark the 125th birth anniversary of our founder, Shri Kasturbhai Lalbhai.
