50 students from class 8 – 12 recently participated in a Model Rocketry workshop jointly organised by Atul Foundation and Vikram A Sarabhai Community Science Centre, Ahmedabad.
The workshop was hosted by Kalyani Shala and supported by Oracle.
On the first day, students learnt about different types of rockets, including science and mathematics concepts related to rocket making, and also prepared a hands-on model of a rocket using low-cost material.
On the second day, students were thrilled to launch their self-made rocket!
