The students of Atul Vidyalaya have initiated a low-cost, sustainable initiative that grows fodder through hydroponics (tender grass grown without soil from cereal grains). This plantation technique is powered by solar panels, which produces nutrient-rich fodder with minimum use of water in repetitive cycles. The students have become avid enthusiasts of agriculture and are developing a keen interest in sustainable use of natural resources.
Atul Vidyalaya (AV) is a private unaided school established in 1991, affiliated to Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations and managed by Atul Vidyalaya Trust.
